Mermaid Parade and Festival

Saturday, June 1st 11 AM till …

Come out to Marshall for the 17th annual Mermaid Parade and Festival which brings together young and old mermaids, mermen, sea creatures and ordinary folk to celebrate on the banks of the French Broad River, one of the oldest rivers in the world.

There will be fun for all ages including:

  • Splash island inflatables for the little pirates and mermaids (11-4)
  • Lots of Arts & Crafts vendors (11-7)
  • Food Trucks and lots of options from Marshalls many restaurants
  • Live Music at the Courthouse (noon-7)
  • Seafood Cookoff – Try incredible seafood from local amateur and professional chefs (1-3)
  • The Parade – Starting at 6 PM the interactive parade floats thru town
  • After Party – On the island with Marshall’s own Pierce Edens (8-10pm)

Parking
Free parking is available at the Marshall Ingles located in Highway 25/70. Shuttles will run from 11am till 8 pm between the parking and all the festivities downtown.
